TASTE OF AFRICA SAFARI:
27 April - 8 May 2026
Join Jan on an exciting and new Taste of Africa safari to Southern Africa in April 2026. This safari has been carefully designed to showcase the food, the people and the wildlife on a 12 day South African and Zimbabwe adventure. Travelling with a small group of no more than 14 people, we will discover the sights and tastes of this diverse and exciting region.
In brief the tour includes:
3 nights in Cape Town: This beautiful city is home to an incredible food and drink culture. We will be exploring the diverse culture of food, visit the spectacular Table Mountain, and exploring the stunning winelands that make the Southern Cape one of the most popular destinations in the world.
2 nights on a working Cape Farm: with a private nature reserve, home to 150 bird species, 70 mammal, amphibia and reptile species including the Geometric Tortoise and 840 plant species. High teas, brunch and 4 course dinners are all included.
3 nights Victoria Falls: feasting in traditional restaurants, exploring the natural wonder of the Victoria Falls, cruising on the upper Zambezi River at sunset, a cooking school in the national park, and shopping for curios from the market. This vibrant town is pulsing with a wide variety of activities.
3 nights Hwange National Park: time to put on your best khaki and enjoy your exclusive private safari staying in luxury ensuite tents. Enjoy safari walks, game drives and being surrounded by wildlife in Zimbabwe’s largest national park, home to a significant elephant population. We meet the chefs, the masters behind the meals all created in the bush, and visit the Hwange Community Rhino Conservation initiative
If 12 days is not sufficient to quench your safari appetite, we can include an optional add-on to the Okavango Delta in Botswana, a visit one of the many game parks in Zambia, or spend a few nights in Kruger National Park in South Africa, before departing for your home shores.
This is a small group tour of minimum 8, and maximum 12, including Jan Stewart as your Tour Leader for the duration of the tour.
