small group safari
Southern Africa, April - May 2027
Join in on an exclusive, southern African foodie safari, with your private tour guide.
SMALL GROUP TOUR
Departing: 27 April 2027
Experience the vibrant culture, wildlife, and flavours of Southern Africa on an exclusive boutique 8–12 day Taste of Africa Safari. Hosted by Jan Stewart, this curated small-group adventure (maximum 14 guests) offers deep local insights and premium inclusions, with flexible options to extend your travels into neighbouring regions.
In brief the escorted tour includes:
-
Explore the stunning sights of one of the most picturesque cities in the world. We explore the ever expanding cuisine and culture, and have the opportunity to visit the top of Table Mountain.
-
Explore the wine regions of Stellenbosch and Franschoek enroute to a western cape farm, located on a wildlife reserve. Explore this beautiful farm on game drives, and on foot, while being exceptionally well fed by the chef.
-
Walk in the footsteps of explorers along one of the natural wonders of the world, experience traditional food experiences and dancing, with safaris both on land and by boat.
If 8 days is not sufficient to quench your safari appetite, we have options to include add-on safari to neighbouring Botswana and Zambia, or beautiful Mauritius:
Hwange National Park Safari (Zimbabwe):
Experience the beautiful wilderness of Hwange with a 3 night safari at Bomani Tented Lodge. Situated on a private concession with views over a waterhole, spend your days on a selection of safari activities including a visit to the rhino sanctuary and meet the local villagers. Flights from Victoria Falls are included.
Botswana Safari (Chobe and Moremi):
This 4-night expedition offers a perfect contrast between the majestic riverfront of Chobe and the wild, predator-rich floodplains of the Khwai Concession. 1 night Chobe, 3 nights Khwai/Moremi.
Botswana (Chobe) and Zambia:
Experience a 4-day escape which balances the high-energy wildlife of a day spent in Chobe, Botswana with the secluded, rhythmic tranquility of a private island retreat on the upper Zambezi River.
Mauritius: from Safari to Sea
A 5-night tropical finale seamlessly transitions from the rugged adventure of the African bush to the refined, azure serenity of the Indian Ocean, with a selection of beautiful resorts to relax in.
This is a small group tour of minimum 8, and maximum 14, including Jan Stewart as your Tour Leader.
